Capsule Endoscope |
Conventional gastric/colorectal endoscopy can examine the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, and entire large intestine. However, in the case of the small intestine, visual examination through an endoscope is not possible, so accurate diagnosis is often difficult. |
Endoscopic ultrasound |
General endoscopy can observe diseases, tumors, and ulcers on the surface of the gastric/colorectal mucosa, but it is difficult to diagnose deep under the mucosa. However, endoscopic ultrasound is a combination of endoscopy and ultrasound by attaching an ultrasound converter to the tip of the endoscope, which allows close access to the lesion, determines the depth of cancer infiltration, metastasis, and helps diagnose early cancer stage. The test method is the same as for general endoscopy. |
Anti-reflux surgery |
It is a method of wrapping and fixing the lower esophageal tightening muscle between the stomach and the esophagus with nearby gastric tissue. |
