Gynecomastia treatment program

  • Medication

The underlying pathological mechanism is the increase in the ratio of estrogen to androgen, and drugs used in drug therapy include androgen, anti-estrogen, and aromata inhibitors.

  • Surgical treatment

If there is no response to drug treatment and cosmetic aspects are considered, mastectomy, breast reduction surgery, or subcutaneous mastectomy may be performed. Pseudogynecomastia, which is caused by fat accumulation accompanying obesity, may benefit from liposuction.
